RSLC Announces New Round of Candidates in “2021 New Jersey Candidate Spotlights” Series

Washington, DC — The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today highlighted a new round of candidates in its“2021 New Jersey Candidates Spotlights” series. The RSLC is proud to support candidates like these, who are fighting to revive New Jersey’s struggling economy and push back against the failed policies from Democrat-controlled Trenton.

 

Senator Michael Doherty — LD-23 Senate — @mikedohertynj

 Senator Doherty is an attorney, West Point graduate, and retired US Army Captain. He also previously served on the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

He’s a husband and father of three sons who serve in the military. As a veteran and businessman, Michael will continue to providing the strong leadership necessary to revive New Jersey’s failing economy and make New Jersey a great place to live, work, raise a family.

Kim Eulner — LD-11Assembly — @KimE415

Kim serves as a Shrewsbury Borough Councilwoman and recently as Council President in 2020. Under her leadership, the Council succeeded in reducing the borough's tax rate for the second consecutive year. She’s also a real estate agent, Client Success Manager at a local data company, and a mother of two. Kim will work to bring jobs back to New Jersey, increase educational opportunities for children across the state, and support families and small businesses.

Don Guardian — LD-2 Assembly — @Don4ACCampaign

Assemblyman Guardian is a former Mayor for Atlantic City. He was the city’s first openly gay mayor, and he defeated the Democrat incumbent to become first Republican to hold his seat in almost 25 years. Don is a former executive with Boy Scouts of America and former president of the Atlantic City Rotary Club. He currently serves as the president of South Jersey AIDS Alliance and as vice president of the Metropolitan Business and Citizens Association. Assemblyman Guardian will keep fighting to expand opportunity for people from every walk of life and push back against Trenton Democrats’ failed policies.

Sam Thompson — LD-12 Senate — @SamThompsonNJ

Senator Thompson is a former state assemblyman. He has a PhD in chemistry, served on the US Armed Forces Epidemiological Board, and spent twenty-two years with the New Jersey Department of Health. Senator Thompson will continue to fight to lower drug costs, implement tax cuts, and champion conservative legislation like the New Jersey Kid Care and New Jersey Family Care programs.
