North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson Joins RSLC Podcast
Washington, DC -- The Republican State Leadership Committee today released a new episode in its podcast series “It’s Bigger Than You Think,” featuring an interview with North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson. Robinson, a political outsider who has not previously held office, rose to prominence in the Tar Heel state after a passionate speech he gave in defense of the Second Amendment in April of 2018 to the Greensboro City Council went viral. The RSLC in 2020 helped Robinson beat back over $8 million spent against him by Michael Bloomberg so he could become the first African American lieutenant governor in North Carolina’s history.
During the episode, Robinson discusses how his journey from humble beginnings embodies the American Dream, how parents worried about politicized schools can step up and fight back, and how Republicans can continue to expand the party in 2022 by spreading the message of freedom and equality for all Americans.
