Republican Secretaries of State Committee (RSSC) Names 2023 Executive Committee Leadership Team
WASHINGTON, D.C. ––Last November, the RSLC overcame the $38.7 million hefty investment by liberal national groups to win 13 secretary of state races. Coming off a huge success, the Republican Secretaries of State Committee (RSSC), a caucus of the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC), announced its executive committee today for 2023. As 10 secretary of state elected offices are up over the next two years, national liberal organizations will stop at nothing to try and win these seats to implement their partisan policies.
“My top priority as Chairman of the RSSC is to ensure warranted public confidence in our elections,” said Kentucky Secretary of State and RSSC Chair Michael G. Adams. “Our executive committee is built of top-notch conservatives focused on keeping our elections legal and fair, as we push back against Democrats who only want to advance their political agenda.”
“With national liberal groups eyeing the ten secretary of state races on the ballot over the next two years, we need principled Republican leaders now more than ever to protect every state's election system,” said Ohio Secretary of State and RSSC Vice Chair Frank LaRose. “I am honored to be working with this executive committee whose goal is not only making sure our elections are free and fair but electing more Republican secretaries of state to hold the line against the Democrats.”
“As Mississippi’s secretary of state, I’ve worked not only to ensure our state has free and fair elections, but to restore confidence in the voting process,” said Mississippi Secretary of State Michael Watson and RSSC Finance Chair. “While national liberal groups want to spend millions of dollars trying to buy their way into controlling and overhauling our elections systems, we will continue to protect the integrity of our elections and do all we can to stop them.”

ABOUT RSSC
Protecting the integrity of our elections has never been more important. Through the Republican Secretaries of State Committee (RSSC), one of the four caucuses of the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC), we are working to elect leaders who champion policies that make it easier to vote but harder to cheat. Secretaries of state also oversee trademark and business registration, run the library and archives operation, manage professional licensing, and perform other critical tasks that encourage the state’s economic development. Since 2007, RSSC has achieved tremendous success and Republicans currently hold 27 out of 50 secretary of state offices.
ABOUT RSLC
The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) is the largest organization of Republican state leaders in the country and only national committee whose mission is to recruit, train, and elect Republicans to multiple down-ballot, state-level offices. Thanks to our growing network of grassroots supporters in all 50 states, we help deliver wins for Republican state legislators, lieutenant governors, secretaries of state, agriculture officials, and state judges across the country.
