RSLC’S Judicial Fairness Initiative Launches Television New Ad Supporting Joe Fischer for Supreme Court

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Republican State Leadership Committee’s Judicial Fairness Initiative (JFI) today is launching its first general election ad supporting constitutional conservative Joe Fischer for Kentucky Supreme Court. The 30-second spot emphasizes how Fischer will protect the freedoms of Kentucky families by pushing back on the socialist, soft-on-crime agenda coming out of Washington and defending the Constitution. The ad will be backed by a $375,000 cable buy in multiple markets in the Bluegrass State.

“The last thing people of Kentucky need is another far-left judge on the Supreme Court that will rubber stamp the failed liberal agenda coming out of Washington, D.C.,” said RSLC JFI President Dee Duncan. “Joe Fischer is a strong constitutional conservative who will uphold the rule of law and keep communities across Kentucky safe, and the RSLC’s Judicial Fairness Initiative is proud to stand behind his candidacy.”

TRANSCRIPT

NARRATOR: Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi’s socialist agenda threatens Kentucky families and our way of life. To protect our freedoms and our communities, we need strong, constitutional conservatives in the courtroom like Joe Fischer. As our next Supreme Court Justice, Fischer will be tough on crime, protect the Constitution and rule of law and oppose liberal efforts to legislate from the bench. On November 8, vote conservative Joe Fischer for supreme court.

ABOUT JFI

Led by Barack Obama and Eric Holder, Democrats are fighting to transform the traditional role of the judiciary from an arbiter of the facts and the law to an advocate for the liberal political agenda. The RSLC’s Judicial Fairness Initiative (JFI) is the only national political effort focused exclusively on halting this transformation by protecting the election and selection of state court judges. JFI provides critical information about judicial candidates in an environment where voters are routinely left in the dark about a candidate’s qualifications for the bench. JFI fills that gap by providing the facts and analysis voters need to cast informed votes for judicial office. Since its formation, JFI has raised and spent more than $19.3 million in states across the country, including Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Arkansas, Louisiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. JFI has previously been engaged in races supporting Justice Brian Hagedorn, Justice Dan Kelly.
