RSLC’s Judicial Fairness Initiative Launches Six Figure Ad Campaign In Support Of Joseph Deters, Dan Hawkins and Megan Shanahan In Ohio Supreme Court Election

Washington, D.C. – The Republican State Leadership Committee’s Judicial Fairness Initiative (JFI) announced the launch of a significant six-figure engagement effort in Ohio to support three critical Ohio Supreme Court candidates: Joseph Deters, Dan Hawkins, and Megan Shanahan. This initiative aims to strengthen Republican control of the Ohio Supreme Court, a pivotal move that could extend the current majority to a 6-1 Republican advantage.

The JFI’s campaign includes a substantial investment of $600,000 in television advertising, a comprehensive statewide mail effort, and a statewide digital effort designed to reach voters across Ohio. The effort reflects the JFI’s continued commitment to supporting judicial candidates who will uphold conservative values and interpret the law without bias.

"Our investment in Ohio’s Supreme Court races reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring that the judiciary upholds the rule-of-law and conservative principles,” said JFI President Dee Duncan. “The decisions made by the Ohio Supreme Court directly affect the future of the state, from protecting fair elections to upholding conservative values. With this strategic effort of television advertising in targeted media markets, we aim to secure a court that reflects those values, supports judicial integrity, and preserves freedom for all by supporting Joseph Deters, Dan Hawkins, and Megan Shanahan."
