RSLC Statement on Georgia’s Secretary of State Primary
Washington D.C.— Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) President Dee Duncan released the following statement after Brad Raffensperger secured the Republican nomination for secretary of state in Georgia:
“National Democrats are ramping up their investments in secretary of state races across the country as they seek to dismantle democracy by handing control of our elections to D.C. instead of the states, and Georgia will be central to their effort. The RSLC is determined to stop them by making Georgia’s secretary of state race a top priority for the committee in 2022. Brad Raffensperger has been a principled leader in the effort to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat in Georgia and his victory tonight proves he has what it takes to win a tough election. The RSLC congratulates Secretary Raffensperger on securing the Republican nomination and looks forward to supporting him in his effort to save Georgia from the radical left’s plot to change the rules of our elections to compensate for their failing liberal agenda that voters are rejecting.”
