RSLC Announces New Round of Candidates in “2021 New Jersey Candidate Spotlights” Series
Washington, DC — The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today highlighted a new round of candidates in its “2021 New Jersey Candidates Spotlights” series. The RSLC is proud to support candidates like these, who are fighting to revive New Jersey’s struggling economy and push back against the failed policies from Democrat-controlled Trenton.
John Catalano — Assembly District 10
Assemblyman John Catalano was first elected to the Assembly in 2019. He is the founder of the Bobby Buecker Memorial Foundation, a small business owner, and former member of the Brick Township Planning Board. Prior to joining the Assembly, John served as Vice-Chair at Brick Township MUA, Commissioner at Brick Township Housing Authority, and President at Brick Township Republican Club. As a father, Assemblyman Catalano is committed to improving educational opportunities. He’ll work to make New Jersey more affordable and business friendly so future generations can thrive in the Garden State.
Christopher DePhillips — Assembly District 40
Assemblyman Christopher DePhillips has served in the Assembly since 2018 and as Deputy Republican Leader since 2021. He also currently serves as the Vice President & General Counsel at Porzio Life Sciences, LLC, a consulting and systems company that assists pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies. Before joining the Assembly, he was a member of Wyckoff Township Committee, Deputy Mayor and Mayor of Wyckoff Township, and a member of Wyckoff Environmental Commission. His vast experience in public service has given him unique insight as he continually pushes back against the radical left in Trenton. Assemblyman DePhillips will continue to prioritize New Jersey families and businesses over government bureaucrats.
Aura Dunn — Assembly District 25 — @AswAuraDunn
Aura Dunn is a Domestic Violence Crisis Counselor at Mendham Borough Police Department for the Jersey Battered Women’s Service, member of the Board of Morris County Habitat for Humanity, and member of the Board of Morris County Mental Health Addictions Services. She previously worked as a Budget Analyst on education policy for the US Senate Appropriations Committee. As a first generation college graduate, Aura understands the importance of investing in education and preparing students for the future. In Trenton, she’ll work to reign in reckless spending, promote policies that bring businesses and jobs to the state, and ensure the voices of her constituents are heard.
Sean Kean — Assembly District 30
Assemblyman Sean Kean is a Municipal Attorney and Prosecutor. Prior to joining the Assembly, he served as a state Senator from 2008-2011, on the Monmouth County Environmental Council from 1999 to 2001, and on Wall Township’s planning board from 2001 to 2002. He’s been a champion of conservative, pro-growth policies that prioritize the interests of New Jerseyans and expand opportunity across the Garden State.
Douglas Dillon — Assembly District 7
Douglas Dillon has worked for the Department of Transportation for 33 years. He is a volunteer member for the Burlington Country Shrine Club, Moorestown Township Zoning Board, and Rittenhouse Park Community Association. As a lifelong resident of Burlington County, Douglas has a deep understanding of how to improve life for New Jerseyans in the 7th district. He will advocate for school choice, lower taxes, protecting police funding, and ensure his constituents are put first.
Robert Clifton — Assembly District 12
Assemblyman Robert Clifton has served in the New Jersey Assembly since 2012 and is the Director of Local Government Affairs at Comcast Cable. Prior to joining the Assembly, Robert was the Mayor of Matawan, Chairman of the Bayshore Conference of Mayors, Freeholder, and Director of the Monmouth County, New Jersey Board of Chose Freeholders. Assemblyman Clifton will continue fighting to improve New Jersey’s infrastructure, cut taxes, and promote policies that encourage innovation.
Andrew Pachuta — Assembly District 14
Andrew Pachuta is an Air Force veteran, serving in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Andrew currently works as a consultant in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Andrew’s focus in Trenton will be working to lower property, income, and corporate taxes, foster a better business climate, and reigning in excessive executive overreach. As a veteran, he’ll also ensure our service members are supported and honored instead of being left behind.
Joseph Jesuele — Assembly District 7
Joseph Jesuele is a life-long New Jersey resident, small business owner, husband, father, and former member of his township zoning board. As small business owner, he opposes burdensome taxes and regulations imposed on the business community by Trenton Democrats. He’ll fight to cut wasteful spending and excessive regulations, as well as advocate for policies that support the small business community. As a pharmacy owner, he knows what it takes to decrease astronomical medical costs and combat the opioid crisis.
