RSLC PAC Releases New Digital Ad Urging Voters to Reject Virginia Democrats' War on Parents

New Spot Continues Committee’s Efforts to Hold House Democrats Accountable for Following Harmful Education Agenda of Washington Liberals

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Republican State Leadership Committee PAC (RSLC PAC) is urging voters to reject Virginia Democrats’ war on parents with a new digital ad ahead of November’s House of Delegates elections in the commonwealth. The thirty-second spot features Terry McAuliffe’s reckless comment from last week's gubernatorial debate in which he claimed parents should not have a say in what their children are taught in school. The ad is part of the RSLC PAC's ongoing efforts to hold Virginia House Democrats accountable for kowtowing to the harmful education agenda of D.C liberals. 

“Virginia House Democrats have already declared war on Virginia parents by voting to keep schools closed and to protect racially divisive curriculum, all while test scores in the commonwealth plummet,” said RSLC Communications Director Andrew Romeo. “And in refusing to denounce Terry McAuliffe’s reckless position that the government knows better than parents about what is best for their kids, Richmond liberals have proven once again that they are too weak to stand up for the future of Virginia’s students.” 

This ad follows RSLC PAC's efforts since June to hold vulnerable Virginia House Democrats accountable for putting the harmful education agenda of the far-left in Washington above the needs of students. RSLC PAC’s paid media campaigns on education have included: 
 

• A digital ad campaign launched in June and continued in July

• A television ad campaign launched in August

• A new digital ad campaign launched on October 6

RSLC PAC’s creative in these campaigns has held Virginia House Democrats accountable for voting to:
 

• Side with the teachers' unions to keep schools closed, causing test scores to plummet.

• Protect radical, radically divisive curriculum while advanced placement classes in the commonwealth are under attack.
