New RSLC Video Promotes Initiative to Build More Diverse Republican Party from the Ground Up

Features Advice to State-Level Candidates From Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Tim Scott, Congresswoman Ashley Hinson, and Congresswoman Young Kim

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today released a new video promoting its recently launched “Right Leaders Network,” an enhancement of the committee’s long-standing efforts to grow the Republican Party from the ground up with more diverse candidates and elected officials. The video features footage from the panel discussion members of the Right Leaders Network’s Advisory Council held in October in which they gave advice to women and minority candidates thinking about pursuing a run for state office.

The RSLC’s Right Leaders Network initiative achieved tremendous success earlier this month when, as the Washington Post’s Henry Olsen noted, “Women or racial minorities won 10 of the 15 state legislative seats Republicans captured from Democrats” in Virginia and New Jersey.

“We know the future of the Republican Party and the future of our country starts in the states, which is why it’s critical that we continue to invest in recruiting, training, and supporting diverse candidates running for state offices who will go on to be the national leaders of tomorrow,” said RSLC President Dee Duncan. “We’re incredibly proud that women and minorities led the way to a historic 2021 election year and are excited about those from all walks of life who are already jumping in to help us finish the fight in 2022.”

The new video is a sequel to “The Future,” which RSLC launched in April to highlight its mission for 2021-2022 and beyond. Additional information on the success of the RSLC’s Right Leaders Network initiative in 2021:
