Job Creators Network CEO Alfredo Ortiz Joins RSLC's Podcast to Discuss the Fragile State of the Biden Economy
Washington, DC —As businesses and consumers across the country continue to get crushed by sky-high inflation, record-high gas prices, and widespread shortages, the Republican State Leadership Committee today released a new podcast episode featuring Jobs Creators Network CEO Alfredo Ortiz. On this new episode of “It’s Bigger Than You Think,” Ortiz highlights the damage done to the economy by President Biden's tax-and-spend agenda, how GOP-led states have counteracted Biden’s harmful policies and managed to create strong economies, and the impact President Biden's poor handling of the economy will have on the 2022 midterm election.
The interview with Ortiz follows a new ad the RSLC released this week in Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, and Washington emphasizing how Biden’s failed policies, supported by state Democrats, have given Americans the highest inflation in 40 years, effectively imposing a “secret tax hike” on working families. The RSLC’s focus on inflation comes as Americans received another brutal monthly Consumer Price Index report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Wednesday showing that record-high inflation is here to stay in Biden's America.
“It’s Bigger Than You Think,” which is released bi-weekly and is available on Spotify, Anchor, iTunes, and Youtube, contains in-depth discussions with current and former state Republicans, national thought leaders, and top political strategists about the outsized impact state government has on the everyday lives of all Americans.

HIGHLIGHTS:
Ortiz on just how bad Biden's handling of inflation has been for Americans:
“One thing we know for sure, it's not transitory and so we know what President Biden tried to sell along with the rest of the administration was a bunch of malarky... Americans are actually getting what we like to call the Biden pay cut... If you have 8.5% inflation on this hand and 5.5 % wage growth you're actually negative and this has been disastrous for Americans."
Ortiz on how Biden's mishandling of the economy has led to widespread buyers remorse among Biden 2020 voters:
“Look at the most recent polling data whether it's Quinnipiac or Fox News, it doesn't really matter. About 60% - 70% of Americans depending on which poll you're looking at don't believe that Biden is doing a good job managing the economy."
Ortiz on the impact of Biden's war on American energy:
“They make that permitting process disastrous for these businesses and so look it's really clear from day one and even on the election trail that Biden was planning on going full out against the energy production domestically and this is the result now, record-high inflation. Because it really starts from there, everything you need is energy. Everything in our lives takes energy. So when those prices go up 50%, when those costs go up 50% it's going to be a trickle down effect to the consumer."
Ortiz on how GOP-led states' rejection of lockdowns has led to strong and sustained economic growth:
“COVID did an amazing job, in this particular case, of highlighting the distinct differences in terms of policies between the red states and the blue states... Remember it was actually the red states that really had the phenomenal growth out of that. A lot of the blue states were still suffering because frankly they had just these draconian measures in place."
