False Democrat Television Ad in Michigan’s Senate District 35 Taken Off Air

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Flint affiliates WEYI and WSMH pulled the Michigan Democratic State Central Committee’s false attack ad against Rep. Annette Glenn from the airwaves last week after the group failed to provide evidence for the claims they made about Glenn’s position on abortion. In response, RSLC Deputy Communications Director Mason Di Palma issued the following statement:

“Abortion clearly must not be the winning issue Democrats say it is if they have resorted to lying about Republicans’ position on it in their disgraceful attack ads. Democrats are lying about abortion because they have nothing else to run on this year, as they have been in lockstep with the destructive Biden tax-and-spend agenda that has created soaring inflation and gas prices, leaving Michigan families behind. No amount of lies can cover for the fact that Democrats will destroy Michigan’s economy if they gain full control in Lansing, and voters will not be fooled.”  

Democrat Kristen McDonald Rivet has yet to denounce the false ad the Michigan Democratic State Central Committee has run on her behalf.
