RSLC Releases Minnesota Primary Night Video UnderscoringStakes Ahead of November

Washington D.C. —  As primary elections conclude in Minnesota tonight, the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) released a new video underscoring how the state is at a crossroads and the only way Minnesotans can have a state Legislature that works for them instead of pushing President Biden’s agenda is to flip the DFL-controlled state House.  

“The contrast between Minnesota’s DFL state legislators and their Republican counterparts could not be more stark as we move into the general election,” said RSLC President Dee Duncan. “A DFL-controlled Legislature will continue their efforts to hike taxes, spend recklessly, and weaken law enforcement, while Republicans are laser-focused on providing permanent tax relief to combat record-high inflation and cracking down on the violent crime surge threatening the safety of Minnesotafamilies. The Minnesota House is one of our best chamber-flip opportunities in the country and the RSLC remains committed to investing the resources necessary to get it back in Republican hands and holding the Republican-controlled Senate in November.”

THE RSLC IN MINNESOTA
 
The RSLC in March announced Minnesota would be a top priority for the committee, as it would look to defend the Republican majority in the Senate and flip the DFL-controlled House. An RSLC poll released in February showed Republicans in a strong position, with Minnesotans souring on Joe Biden and by double-digits wanting a Legislature that will push back on the President’s agenda. The committee included Minnesota in its "Biden Remorse" national ad campaign that began in April. The campaign targeted Americans who regret voting for Joe Biden and his alleged “return to normalcy” in 2020, as they are now being dealt higher prices, a lack of control in their children’s education, and fear of crime in their once-safe neighborhoods. The three ads from this campaign that have run in Minnesota include: “Biden Tax, ”Back to Normal,” and "Erased".The RSLC also released "Next Round", a video highlighting how Minnesota's record-high inflation rate has caused prices to increase on everything, including beer.
