RSLC Announces Key Senior Staff Hires for 2023-2024 Cycle

Washington, D.C.- The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today announced four new senior staff hires for the 2023-2024 election cycle.

  1. Michael Joyce, Communications Director

  2. Sophia Sirianni, Digital Director

  3. Max Docksey, Political Director

  4. Alexis Valdez Darnell, Senior Advisor, Recruitment & Training

“The backstop of power Republicans have built in the states is at serious risk and winning down-ballot races has never been tougher, but we are assembling a team that is ready to meet the challenge,” said RSLC President Dee Duncan. “These extremely talented political operatives will play a critical role in helping the RSLC continue to innovate and reach new heights so we can fight back against the national liberal money machine and elect state Republicans across the country this cycle.” 

Michael Joyce will serve as Communications Director. He comes to the RSLC after serving as the Deputy Director of Regional Communications for the Republican National Committee during the 2022 midterm election cycle.

Sophia Sirianni will be the Digital Director. She was previously the Deputy Digital Fundraising Director at the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Max Docksey will serve as the Political Director. He was most recently the Republican National Committee’s Regional Political Director for the Great Lakes region. 

Alexis Valdez Darnell will be a Senior Advisor for Recruitment & Training. She comes to the RSLC after working for FP1 Strategies as Managing Director.
