RSLC’S Judicial Fairness Initiative Launches New TV Ad Against Liberal Justice Ingrid Gustafson
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Republican State Leadership Committee’s Judicial Fairness Initiative (JFI) today is launching its first general election ad in Montana’s state Supreme Court race between James Brown and Ingrid Gustafson. The 15-second spot urges voters to oppose Gustafson, emphasizing her F rating from the Montana Chamber of Commerce, which is the lowest score given to any Justice on the Supreme Court. The ad will be backed by a $500,000 broadcast television buy across multiple markets in the Treasure State.
“With Joe Biden’s inflation already stretching the budgets of Montana families to their limits, they simply cannot afford the economic destruction that anti-business Ingrid Gustafson would cause from the bench,” said RSLC JFI President Dee Duncan. “Montanans looking for a constitutional conservative who will protect their values and their paychecks will reject Gustafson and vote for James Brown on November 8.”
The RSLC’s Judicial Fairness Initiative previously supported James Brown in the primary election.

ABOUT JFI
Led by Barack Obama and Eric Holder, Democrats are fighting to transform the traditional role of the judiciary from an arbiter of the facts and the law to an advocate for the liberal political agenda. The RSLC’s Judicial Fairness Initiative (JFI) is the only national political effort focused exclusively on halting this transformation by protecting the election and selection of state court judges. JFI provides critical information about judicial candidates in an environment where voters are routinely left in the dark about a candidate’s qualifications for the bench. JFI fills that gap by providing the facts and analysis voters need to cast informed votes for judicial office. Since its formation, JFI has raised and spent more than $19.3 million in states across the country, including Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Arkansas, Louisiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. JFI has previously been engaged in races supporting Justice Brian Hagedorn, Justice Dan Kelly.
