RSLC’s Judicial Fairness Initiative Launches Five Figure Ad Campaign In Support Of Shelley Grogan In Wisconsin Court of Appeals Election
Washington, DC- The Republican State Leadership Committee’s Judicial Fairness Initiative (JFI) this week is releasing a new television ad in support of Judge Shelley Grogan ahead of Wisconsin’s April 6 election. The 30-second spot, which will be backed by a $50,000 cable buy and will air in the Milwaukee and Green Bay media markets, emphasizes Grogan’s experience and commitment to keeping Wisconsin families safe. While JFI has engaged in voter education during Wisconsin Supreme Court races in the past, this project marks the first time JFI has been involved in a Court of Appeals contest in Wisconsin.
“Voters make more informed choices when they have a greater knowledge of the candidates, and the Republican State Leadership Committee’s Judicial Fairness Initiative is excited to share with the people of Wisconsin why Shelley Grogan is an excellent choice for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals,” said JFI Vice President Andrew Wynne. “Judge Grogan is a long time conservative with over twenty years of experience in the courts and the backing of the law enforcement community. She will stand for the Constitution and the rule of law against those who seek to use the courts to advance a partisan, political agenda.”

ABOUT JFI
Led by Barack Obama and Eric Holder, Democrats are fighting to transform the traditional role of the judiciary from an arbiter of the facts and the law to an advocate for the liberal political agenda. The RSLC’s Judicial Fairness Initiative (JFI) is the only national political effort focused exclusively on halting this transformation by protecting the election and selection of state court judges. JFI provides critical information about judicial candidates in an environment where voters are routinely left in the dark about a candidate’s qualifications for the bench. JFI fills that gap by providing the facts and analysis voters need to cast informed votes for judicial office. Since its formation, JFI has raised and spent more than $19.3 million in states across the country, including Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Arkansas, Louisiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. RSLC-JFI has previously been engaged in races supporting Justice Brian Hagedorn, Justice Dan Kelly.
