RSLC Statement on Virginia House Primaries: Republican Path to Victory Runs Through Bitterly Divided Democrats
WASHINGTON, D.C -- Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) President Dee Duncan issued the following statement on the results of tonight’s primary elections in Virginia.
“The hypocritical attacks, broken campaign promises, and eye-popping spending that dominated the nasty Democratic primaries for House of Delegates and lieutenant governor make clear that Virginia liberals enter the general election divided. House Republicans, on the other hand, are rallying behind the most diverse statewide ticket in Virginia history. They are well prepared to hold Virginia Democrats accountable for the disastrous far-left agenda they have perpetuated through their complete control of Richmond the last two years, and will fight to reinvigorate the commonwealth’s economy, improve public education, and keep families safe. The RSLC is excited by our slate of Republican candidates and looks forward to working to provide them with the resources they need to win in November.”
