RSLC Statement: Iowa Republicans Secure Supermajority in the State Senate
WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a booming affirmation of the Hawkeye State’s conservative leadership, voters delivered Republicans a supermajority in the state Senate.
“Iowans last night rewarded legislative Republicans for holding the line against the disastrous policies coming out of Democrat-controlled Washington,” said RSLC President Dee Duncan. “Republicans in Des Moines delivered the biggest tax cut in state history, fought to get kids back in a classroom, and worked hard to shield families and small businesses across Iowa from the worst of Bidenflation. The RSLC congratulates Iowa Senate Republicans on this success and we look forward to seeing them grow the conservative movement in Iowa.”
