RSLC PAC Launches $75,000 Independent Expenditure Against Jena Griswold in Colorado Secretary of State Race
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Republican State Leadership Committee PAC (RSLC PAC) today is launching a $75,000 paid media campaign against Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold. The effort, which will run through Election Day, will consist of digital ads and texts exposing how Griswold continues to make a mess in Colorado, just like national Democrats are doing in Washington, D.C. The ads highlight how Griswold has been criticized by county election officials for politicizing her office and her recent move to send out postcards to 30,000 noncitizens encouraging them to register to vote. Voters being served the ads will also be directed to griswold-mistakes.com to learn more about her mistakes and messes.
This is the second independent expenditure the RSLC is making in a secretary of state race in 2022 and demonstrates the committee’s commitment to electing secretaries of state who will push back against the Democrats’ federal takeover of our elections system while making it easier to vote and harder to cheat in their states. The RSLC last week launched a six-figure paid media effort in support of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
“Jena Griswold has proven that she’s too partisan and too incompetent to be trusted as the Centennial State’s top election official,” said RSLC PAC President Dee Duncan. “Griswold stands with radical liberal efforts that encourage noncitizens to vote in our elections because she believes her job is to help Democrats win elections at all costs. Coloradans have had enough of Griswold’s failures and are turning to Pam Anderson because they know she can be trusted to conduct free and fair elections for Coloradans and make it easier for citizens of the Centennial State to vote and harder to cheat.”
Failing to protect Democratic Association of Secretaries of State Chair Jena Griswold would be a an embarrassment of epic proportions for Democrats, as they’ve outspent Republicans in this race 24:1.
