RSLC PAC Goes Up on Television Against Virginia Democrats
Washington D.C.— The RSLC PAC released a slate of new ads that target vulnerable State Senate Democrats Monty Mason (SD-24) and Clint Jenkins (SD-17). The ads focus in on Jenkins’ egregious voting record and Mason’s past comments where he calls Republican efforts to empower parents ‘crap’ and ‘garbage.’ The ads are the third leg of a seven-figure coordinated ad campaign that the RSLC PAC launched at the beginning of the summer, with the help of Governor Glenn Youngkin’s Spirt of Virginia PAC and the Virginia Senate Republican Caucus.
The five-figure campaign will be the RSLC PAC’s first cable TV ad buy in Virginia this year and will run in Senate Districts 17 and 24.
“Whether its blocking tax relief, protecting drug dealers or vilifying parents, Virginia Democrats like Clint Jenkins and Monty Mason have shown they are not only out of touch with the values of Virginians but that they are unfit to lead in Richmond,” said RSLC President Dee Duncan. “As Virginians continue to bear the brunt from Joe Biden’s reckless tax and spend agenda, they are turning to Republicans to enact strong conservative policies to move the Commonwealth forward.”

TRANSCRIPT
NARRATOR: “Monty Mason thinks parents shouldn’t have a say in their children’s education. He thinks your rights as a parent are ‘garbage’ and ‘stupid.’ Don’t believe it? Hear it in his own words.
MONTY MASON: “It’s just all part of this parental crap that they’re selling.”
NARRATOR: “Radical Monty Mason thinks that your rights to be involved in your child’s education are crap, let him know that’s what his political future is. Vote for parental rights and fire Monty Mason this November.”
BACKGROUND
In July, the RSLC PAC announced a joint 7-figure coordinated effort with Governor Youngkin’s Spirit of Virginia PAC, the Virginia Senate Republican Caucus, and the Republican Party of Virginia. As part of that commitment, the “Summer Series” campaign highlights the failures of Virginia Democrat nominees and follows the RSLC PAC’s Virginia memo which outlines a roadmap to success in this November’s election, with a focus on AB/EV efforts across the Commonwealth. Through our continued partnership with Governor Youngkin’s Spirit of Virginia PAC SecureYourVoteVirginia.com prioritizes AB/EV and ensures all Virginians can make a plan to vote early or absentee.
