Republicans Don Guardian and Claire Swift Flip LD-2

Polistina Holds Senate Seat For Republicans

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Republicans Don Guardian and Claire Swift flipped Assembly seats in New Jersey Legislative District 2 tonight. Both candidates were part of the RSLC’s “Right Leaders Network,” the committee’s recently announced initiative to enhance its efforts to support more women and diverse candidates in state races to help grow the Republican Party from the ground up.

Don Guardian and Claire Swift were the right candidates for the district who ran outstanding campaigns,” said RSLC Deputy Executive Director Edith Jorge-Tuñón. “Both proven fighters, Don and Claire will go to Trenton to stand up the far-left’s tax and spend agenda and to keep New Jersey families safe. The RSLC was proud to support their efforts to flip LD-2.”

The Republican State Leadership Committee ran independent expenditures in support of Guardian and Swift that included cable television ads, digital ads, mail, texting, and robocalls.

Republican state Senator Vince Polistina also held his seat in LD-2.
