Republican State Leadership Committee Announces Record Breaking Early Investments in Key States for 2024 Elections

Washington, D.C. – The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today released details surrounding the early investments it and its affiliated PACs have made before Labor Day in key states as part of its ongoing strategy to secure Republican victories in down-ballot races across the country. The RSLC's total investment this year across 21 states has already topped $22M which brings the total to over $34 million for the cycle with a substantial focus on data-driven initiatives to ensure effective resource allocation.

This comes on the heels of a $12 million investment in state-level races in 2023, when the RSLC built a strong foundation to ensure success in 2024 by investing in a robust absentee ballot and early voting (AB/EV) program that delivered strong results. Building on that momentum, the RSLC has expanded those efforts into key states that will make all the difference in November. On top of the AB/EV program, the RSLC has also made a $2 million commitment this year dedicated specifically to enhancing data capabilities, allowing the RSLC to deploy resources with precision and maximize the impact of its efforts even further.

"We know that the Democrats intend to flood the battleground states with millions of dollars down the final stretch of the election, which is why the RSLC’s early investments are so critical to winning in key battleground states," said RSLC President Dee Duncan. "By investing early and supporting strong Republican candidates, we are able to maximize our funds over the course of the cycle so we can secure decisive victories in November.”

Notable investments include:

  • Arizona

  • Minnesota

  • Michigan

  • New Hampshire

  • Pennsylvania

  • Wisconsin

The RSLC has continuously stressed that investing early is the best way to combat the historic amount of money numerous outside groups on the left are pouring into state legislative races. Earlier this year, three top democratic committees announced a $160M spend on state legislative races through the end of the year, though public records and reporting shows that much of that commitment has yet to be spent. This only confirms what we have been saying since the beginning; millions of dollars will be poured in the final stretch as Democrats attempt to drown out our message and efforts.

These targeted investments underscore the RSLC's commitment to winning in states that will play a pivotal role in shaping the political landscape for years to come. With these funds, the RSLC is supporting critical campaigns, expanding voter outreach, and building data infrastructure that will be key to Republican success.

As the 2024 elections approach, the RSLC will continue to deploy resources strategically, ensuring that Republican candidates have the support they need to win in critical state-level races.
