Ag America Announces 2025 Executive Committee & National Leadership Team
WASHINGTON, D.C. –– Ag America proudly presents its 2025 Executive Committee. With Republicans now holding all 12 elected statewide agriculture officials nationwide, we must continue to defend everyone. In the 2025-2026 election cycle, the stakes could not be higher, with 7 of 12 statewide agriculture offices up for election, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Iowa, North Dakota, South Carolina, and Texas. As the fight continues, Ag America remains committed to championing the interests of America's farmers and ranchers.
"American Agriculture is essential to our nation’s success and security - it’s a dynamic, high tech industry that provides millions of American jobs, sustains thousands of local economies and communities across the nation, and plays a critical role in our national security infrastructure,” said Ag America Chair & Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture Tyler Harper. "I’m honored and excited to lead a great group of fellow Agriculture Commissioners to address the challenges facing our industry head on. I look forward to working together to champion policies that will strengthen our agricultural economy, create American jobs, and empower American farmers and agribusinesses.”
“The importance of agricultural commissioners stretched far beyond the farm, as we are a critical part of strengthening the American economy and making sure that we are supporting policies to make this multi-billion dollar industry produces for the American people,” said Ag America Vice Chair and Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture Jonathan Shell. “Continuing to support commonsense policies to strengthen this industry and protecting our farmers will be one of my top priorities in making sure that Republicans continue to control these vital posts nationwide. I could not be more proud to work with my esteemed colleagues in taking on this leadership position to do my part to make agriculture in America more efficient and prosperous.”
"When it comes to boosting the American economy, agriculture stands as a vital pillar in generating the revenue needed for our nation's strength and prosperity," said Ag America Finance Chair and Louisiana Commissioner of Agriculture Mike Strain, DVM. "This election cycle is crucial, and we are poised to deploy the essential resources to challenge the left and their progressive climate agenda, which threatens to undermine the agriculture industry. I am enthusiastic about collaborating with my colleagues on this committee to devise innovative strategies that resonate with the public and ensure we maintain our agricultural seats in the red."
