RSLC Statement on Florida State LegislativePrimary Results

Washington D.C.- Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) President Dee Duncan released the following statement on tonight’s state legislative primary results in Florida: 

 “By passing a $1.2 billion tax relief plan, a  $400 million package to fund law enforcement, and legislation to expand school choice options for low-income families, Florida’s Republican-controlled Legislature has been an example for the nation on how states can offset Biden’s failed liberal agenda and deliver wins for their constituents. The strong state legislative candidates Florida Republicans selected tonight will continue to advance commonsense conservative policies in Tallahassee and keep Florida free. At the RSLC, we are committed to defending our state legislative majorities in the Sunshine State so they can keep holding the line against Biden's radical liberal policies.”

Earlier this year, the RSLC named the Florida Legislature as a top defensive target for 2022.The RSLC released its first-ever Spanish language ad in five battleground states, including Florida.
