New Ad is Backed by Six-Figure Buy and Will Target Voters in Northern Virginia
Washington, D.C.– The Republican State Leadership Committee PAC (RSLC PAC) today announced the launch of a six-figure ad aimed at warning Virginia voters about the consequences of unchecked Democrat control in Richmond. The ad highlights what is at stake if Democrats sweep in November — including disastrous economic policies, an increase in crime, and schools that are no longer safe. The six-figure buy is part of the early investment into the Commonwealth’s elections in which RSLC PAC partnered with RAGA Action Fund and Governor Youngkin’s Spirt of Virginia PAC.
The ad will be backed by a six-figure investment and will run in Fairfax, Loudon and Prince William Counties and comes off the heels of the RSLC PAC, RAGA Action Fund, and Governor Youngkin’s Spirit of Virginia PAC’s seven figure investment into a robust GOTV effort, called Secure Your Vote Virginia.
“If Democrats gain full control of Virginia, they will rush to implement policies that mirror California’s — with higher taxes, lenient approaches to crime, and radical mandates that undermine the authority of parents and local communities,” said RSLC President Edith Jorge-Tuñón. “This ad serves as a crucial warning: one-party Democrat leadership in Richmond would impose a far-left agenda with no checks or balances, silencing the voices of everyday Virginians. We are determined to fight back and ensure that common-sense leadership thrives in our Commonwealth.”

Background
The new ad buy is part of the RSLC PAC’s investment in Virginia following the successes it had in the commonwealth in 2023. Despite the difficult political environment Virginia Republicans faced two years ago, the RSLC’s AB/EV program was a tremendous success and helped candidates across the state defy expectations. The committee’s innovative efforts to target low propensity GOP voters boosted turnout and prevented Democrats from obtaining a 45-55 House of Delegates and a 17-23 Senate. That year, Republicans won 13 districts that President Biden won in 2020 and seven districts that the congressional Democrat candidate won in 2022.
