Ads are Backed by a Six-Figure Investment
Washington, D.C.– The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today launched a powerful new ad campaign — including two 15-second video spots and two radio ads — focused on the rising cost of living and surging crime that has occurred under Democrat-controlled Trenton. The campaign is backed by a six-figure investment targeting key battleground districts across the state.
The campaign draws a sharp contrast between Democrat policy failures and Republican-led solutions on public safety and affordability. The RSLC’s messaging highlights how Democrats are leaving working families behind with skyrocketing energy prices and unchecked crime — while Republicans are offering a better path forward.
“New Jersey remains one of the most expensive states to live in, but it doesn’t have to be this way. The Democrats controlling Trenton have continued to lean in on the same failed policies and we are calling them out on it,” said RSLC President Edith Jorge-Tuñón. “The people of the Garden State are tired of the status quo and are craving leaders who will actually fight for them and make NewJersey a better place to live and raise a family.”

Background
In 2023, the RSLC and its affiliated PACs invested nearly $1 million in New Jersey to enhance voter engagement through absentee ballot mailings, follow-up communications, and early voting information. This effort was supported by targeted digital ads and direct text messages to voters that saw a record turnout for Republican voters.
Earlier this year, the committee released a memo that detailed its strategy to spend early in 2025 in order to beat back an onslaught of funding from national liberal billionaires who are hoping this year will be the next 2017.
