Washington, D.C. – The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today launched a new video highlighting the rampant fraud that was recently uncovered in Minnesota and how it is a direct result of failed leadership from state Democrats. The ad highlights how even though Tim Walz may be dropping his political career following these revelations, Minnesota Democrats running for state legislature will still have to answer for this scandal come November.
“Tim Walz said it best: Minnesotans should be concerned about fraud in their state government because it exploded on the watch of state Democrats,” said RSLC Communications Director Mason Di Palma. “While families were sitting at their kitchen tables worrying about rising costs, Democrats failed to do their jobs and allowed taxpayer dollars to be abused. Minnesotans deserve accountability, and that starts with firing the Democrats who let this happen.”

Transcript:
Governor Tim Walz: “Make no mistake, we should be concerned about fraud in our state government.”
Narrator: “After years of Democrat mismanagement, fraud didn’t just grow, it exploded. Illegal immigrants cashed in your tax dollars for luxury cars, real estate, and vacations overseas, while Minnesota families were at the kitchen table wondering which bill to skip this month. Now Tim Walls is literally waltzing out of the governor’s mansion, but Minnesota Democrats in the legislature can’t run away from this failure. It’s time to fire them this November.”
