Washington D.C.— Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) President Dee Duncan issued the following statement in response to last night’s primary results in Oregon:
“Make no mistake about it, Republicans are on offense in Oregon this year and the talented state legislative candidates we nominated last night will pave the way for our success. The people of Oregon are fearing for their economic and physical security as a result of failing Democrat leadership in the state and are ready to vote for change. The RSLC will continue to look for opportunities to make meaningful gains in the legislature with strong Republicans who will stand up to the radical left and put their communities first.”
The RSLC in March announced that it would be targeting the Oregon legislature in 2022 and billed it as a state in which Republicans can make meaningful gains.
