RSLC Statement on Ohio’s Secretary of State Race

LaRose Cruises to Victory Running on Record of Making Ohio a Gold Standard of How to Conduct Free and Fair Elections

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) President Dee Duncan released the following statement after Frank LaRose was reelected as Ohio’s Secretary of State, running on record of conducting free and fair elections throughout the Buckeye State.

“Time and time again, Secretary LaRose has risen to the occasion to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat in Ohio, while embracing the idea that the state of Ohio and not the federal government should be tasked with administering its elections. The RSLC was proud to support Frank and congratulate him on his well-deserved victory tonight.”

The RSLC was a max-contributor to LaRose, who serves as the finance chair of the RSLC’s Secretaries of State caucus and played a critical role in drafting the RSLC Commission on Election Integrity’s best practices.
