The Republican State Leadership Committee today released a new round of candidates for its “2021 Virginia Spotlight Candidates” series. The RSLC is proud to support candidates like these, who are fighting to make Virginia thrive again and push back against the failed policies from Democrat-controlled Richmond.
The class of candidates running for House of Delegates in Virginia in 2021 embody the RSLC’s commitment to growing the future of the party with candidates that better represent their communities. Virginia’s Republican statewide ticket already includes a business owner and political outsider candidate for governor, an African American and former veteran candidate for lieutenant governor, and a Hispanic candidate for attorney general, and will be bolstered by 22 women, 8 minorities, 21 veterans, 19 young Republicans, and 24 business owners running for the House of Delegates.
Jeff Campbell — Virginia House District 6 — @votejcampbell
Jeff served was first elected to the House of Delegates in 2013. Prior to representing the sixth district, he served in the Army Reserves and as Mayor of Saltville. He is a community leader, attorney and small business owner. Delegate Campbell will continue working to bring more opportunity and economic prosperity to Virginia.
Tanya Gould — Virginia House District 21 — @tanyaforVA
Tanya, a survivor of human trafficking, is a social activist working to raise awareness for other victims. She has more than twenty years of experience working with government agencies and local law enforcement providing training and advocating for policy changes that affect those who have experience human trafficking. She’s ready to take this fight to Richmond to represent Virginians who are tired of failed leadership and want results.
Bobby Orrock — Virginia House District 54
Bobby Orrock is one of the longest serving Republicans in the House of Delegates. He’s a former EMT and Trustee. With nearly three decades of teaching experience, Delegate Orrock knows how important it is for students to be in the classroom and receiving a quality education.
Sheila Furey — Virginia House District 69
Sheila is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist with more than twenty years of experience. She has dedicated herself to working with children and adults across Virginia to help them overcome learning disabilities. As a survivor of breast cancer, she is a fighter who is ready to take on Democrat-controlled Richmond to put Virginia families first.
