Washington D.C. — As primary elections conclude in Washington tonight, the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) released a new video highlighting how years of failed Democratic leadership in Olympia has Washingtonians struggling to make ends meet and fearing for their safety.
“If Democrats retain complete control of Olympia, voters can expect more painful tax increases and soft-on-crime polices that have the state headed in the wrong direction,” said RSLC President Dee Duncan. “Washingtonians deserve better leadership that will prioritize bringing down the cost of living while supporting our law enforcement officers by allowing them to do their jobs. Voters in Washington are exhausted by the failures that have come from one party rule in Olympia and the RSLC is excited to invest the resources needed to hold Washington Democrats accountable for their disastrous record.”
Last month, the RSLC upgraded Washington to an offensive target state where there is an “opportunity to flip chambers.” The move came after RSLC-WA PAC released polling showing Republicans within the margin of error on the state legislative generic ballot and the radical liberal agenda of the Democrat-controlled Legislature deeply unpopular with voters.
