New RSLC Ads Highlight Democrats’ Silence on Offshore Winds Harming Marine Life

Washington D.C.— The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) launched today two five-figure ad buys on the effect of offshore wind projects that are putting the lives of whales in danger; the very same whales that have been washing up on New Jersey beaches.

• The first ad, which will air in districts 2 and 4, highlights how state Democrats in New Jersey have allowed President Biden to greenlight man made turbines that are costing the lives of whales.
• The second ad, which will only air in district 11, highlights state Senator Vin Gopal’s hypocrisy, having said he was concerned about the ties between offshore wind and whales washing up on the Jersey shore but has since been silent on the matter, caring more about his own political career.

“Trenton Democrats care more about their political careers than addressing why offshore wind projects are causing whales to wash up on New Jersey beaches. Democrat’s green new deal policies are harming marine life but they don’t seem to care.
