RSLC Releases Latest Television Advertisement Criticizing Minority Leader Bob Trammell’s Poor Leadership

WASHINGTON – The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today released its latest television advertisement criticizing Democrat Leader Bob Trammell for his “No” votes on S.B. 416, which included a 10% reduction in legislative salary, and H.B. 846, which included a PPE manufacturers’ tax credit.

Watch: Liberal Bob Trammell – Out For Himself

TRANSCRIPT: In this crisis, real leaders stepped up. Cutting their own pay to balance the budget…A plan to bring medical manufacturing from China to Georgia, But liberal Bob Trammell played politics and stood in the way.

Trammell refused to cut his own pay to help balance the budget, and Trammell opposed a plan to put Georgians to work manufacturing critical medical supplies.

Real leaders stepped up…But liberal politician Bob Trammell was out for himself.

RSLC President Austin Chambers released the following statement: “It’s fitting Bob Trammell is Stacy Abrams’ successor. They are both self-serving, liberal politicians who put their own interests above those they purport to serve. Despite the challenging times we’re living in – and the deep economic uncertainty we continue to face – Trammell couldn’t even be bothered to cut his taxpayer funded salary. He even opposed efforts to manufacture additional medical equipment (PPE) in Georgia. Trammell wanted to protect his taxpayer paycheck, but couldn’t care less about lifesaving equipment for Georgians, and the paychecks that come along with it. Bob Trammell is just another liberal politician looking out for himself.”

Liberal Bob Trammell has opposed federal and state tax cuts, supported allowing in-state tuition for illegal immigrants, and has stood with Michael Bloomberg’s extremist gun-control groups who want to take law-abiding Georgians’ guns. The RSLC will continue to highlight these policy failures and many more through targeted television, digital, text, and mail advertising across Trammell’s district through Election Day.

Immediately following Georgia’s primary elections, the RSLC announced a multi-million dollar campaign to hold Georgia Republicans’ legislative majorities ahead of redistricting set to take place next year and announced Georgia House Democrat Minority Leader Bob Trammell as the top national target in the 2020 election cycle.

Following the Republican State Leadership Committee’s (RSLC) multi-million dollar campaign announcement, the committee launched its first full-scale ad blitz criticizing the Georgia Democrat for his long record of support for radically liberal policies. The RSLC also launched, a place where voters can be reminded of Bob Trammell’s liberal policies. The committee has already invested over $550,000 in Georgia in the 2020 election cycle and has identified the state as a top-three national priority this year.
