WASHINGTON – The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) released the following statement after K.C. Tomlinson was victorious in a critical House special election for Pennsylvania House District 18. K.C. Tomlinson is a lifelong Bensalem resident and small businesswoman.
RSLC President Austin Chambers said:
“K.C. Tomlinson is the best leader for Pennsylvania House District 18. Focused on combatting the opioid epidemic, protecting funding for public schools, and keeping taxes low for her community, it’s easy to see why voters elected K.C. Tomlinson to be their voice in Harrisburg. Winning this previously Clinton-won House district shows that Republican momentum is sweeping the Keystone State. The RSLC was proud to support K.C., and we look forward to working together to hold the Pennsylvania state House this year.”
The RSLC invested nearly $200,000 in supporting the Pennsylvania’s House Republican Campaign Committee’s special election get out the vote (GOTV) efforts through digital and radio advertisements in the commonwealth. Democrats spent close to $1 million to attack House Districts 18 and 58, where Republicans K.C. Tomlinson and Eric Davanzo won respectively.
