WASHINGTON – The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) released the following statement after Majority Whip Chad McCoy secured victory in the Kentucky House District 50 Republican primary:
“Whip McCoy keeps his promises and continues to be an honest leader for the people of Kentucky,” said RSLC President Austin Chambers. “From the moment he was elected to office, Whip McCoy hit the ground running for residents in Nelson County and hasn’t stopped ever since. His sole focus is serving his community – from dedicating himself to critical infrastructure projects to cutting red tape for non-profit organizations, he remains the best representative of the district.”
McCoy was first elected in 2016, where he was the primary sponsor of five bills that were signed into law. He was selected as Majority Whip by his peers in 2018. The RSLC spent over $40,000 in support of Whip McCoy’s primary election.
