WASHINGTON – Following the passing of Oregon state Senator Jackie Winters (R-Salem), Republican State Leadership Committee President Austin Chambers issued the following statement:

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of a strong leader, a fearless pioneer, and a dear friend to our organization. Jackie was a member of our RSLC family, and we are grateful for her service and blessed for all that she shared with us through her leadership. We will continue to do our part to honor the trail she so courageously blazed by working to elect strong, conservative women up and down the ballot – just as Jackie did.”

Winters was a leader in the RSLC community, having served on the Republican Legislative Campaign Committee Executive Committee, as well as on the Future Majority Project board.
