WASHINGTON – President Trump in his remarks last night at a campaign rally in Milwaukee declared his support for Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Daniel Kelly’s campaign for election to the state Supreme Court. President Trump also thanked Wisconsin voters for electing Justice Brian Hagedorn last spring, in which the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) played a critical role in the successful effort.

President Trump: “Last spring, Wisconsin voters, as you know, elected a great judge to your state Supreme Court. This spring you have a chance to elect another terrific judge. Justice Daniel Kelly. Go vote for Justice Daniel Kelly to defend the rule of law in Wisconsin.”
In 2019, JFI launched a full-scale, micro-targeted voter education project of $1.3 million over the last week of the campaign to turn out low propensity, conservative voters and persuade undecided swing voters, which helped carry conservative Justice Brian Hagedorn to victory in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race. This year’s election for Wisconsin Supreme Court is critical because it will be on the ballot with Presidential primary candidates, naturally driving a high turn out for Democrat voters. If conservatives lose this seat, Democrats will be positioned to take majority control of the court at the next court election. The RSLC’s Judicial Fairness Initiative (JFI) works to elect conservatives to the judiciary in states across the country. Too often, voters are starved of information about judicial candidates up for election and are forced to vote completely in the dark. To address this critically important need, JFI provides the public with a balanced flow of relevant information to make educated decisions and support common sense conservative judges in the states. Since conception in 2014, JFI has invested millions in state Supreme Court races with abounding success in states like Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, and more.
