WASHINGTON – The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) is honoring Asian Pacific American Heritage Month this May by highlighting Asian Pacific American Republican leaders serving their communities at all levels of state government.
“The RSLC is proud to have many great Republican Asian Pacific heritage leaders representing communities across the country,” said Austin Chambers, RSLC President. “Asian Pacific Americans have an important impact in our states through their leadership, and this month is a great time to reflect on the role Asian Pacific American leaders continue to play in shaping our nation.”
Niraj Antani, Ohio State Representative added, “During Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, people from every walk of life join together to celebrate Asian Pacific American culture and traditions. I am proud of the growing representation of our leaders throughout the nation today. I am so grateful for the generations before me that laid the foundation necessary so that I could be an Asian Pacific American leader in America today.”
“This month is more than just highlighting Asian Pacific Americans one month out of the year, it is about celebrating the full diversity of America every day,” said Edith Jorge-Tuñón, RSLC Political Director. “We have great dedicated Asian Pacific American leaders from Hawaii to Massachusetts, and it is our privilege at RSLC to showcase the full diversity of our Republican leaders across the country.”
