RSLC Statements on the 15 in ’15: Races to Watch:

“Since 2011, the RSLC’s Future Majority Project has strived to help elect qualified, conservative candidates to state-level office who truly reflect the diversity of each state. This year, from Virginia to Kentucky and Mississippi, we have an impressive list of candidates who will deliver the Republican message to countless new voters and expand our party beyond its traditional base. I’m proud of their effort, and I look forward to their success in November.”  – FMP Chairman and Former Oklahoma Speaker T.W. Shannon

“I am thrilled to see so many impressive women running for office this year. Women are 53 percent of the electorate; every state will benefit by having more women in state-level office making the important decisions that impact voters’ lives. Today’s 15 in ’15 list features some incredible women from around the country who are ready to make a difference in their states, and I am proud to support them.” – RWRN Co-Chair and Tennessee Speaker Beth Harwell

“As one of our nation’s 13 women lieutenant governors, I know firsthand how critical it is to see more women enter state-level elected office to have a much-needed say in the issues that matter most to voters. I am happy to see so many strong, impressive women featured on today’s list and can’t wait to see them win on Election Day.” – RWRN Co-Chair and Iowa Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds

“The RSLC’s Right Women, Right Now and Future Majority Project initiatives play an important role in helping to fill the Republican Party’s bench with exceptional women and diverse elected leaders ready to make their states better. And 2015 is no different. I am pleased to see so many accomplished, conservative men and women candidates on today’s list. I hope they will inspire others to follow their lead and take the important step to run for office. “ – RSLC President Matt Walter
